Name is Riley and this blog is dedicated to my aspiration to becoming a circus performer [: An ex-gymnast of 5 years and currently a coach. I'm mostly interested in the aerial arts especially lyra and silks, but I also want to train in contortion, hoop manipulation, and hand balancing. Anything else just ask

I’m starting to become more and more interested in the idea of training in corde lisse. It’s not as popular as silks and used less by female aerialists. And I think if you have the talent for it it can be the most entertaining of all aerials
I’m honestly surprised I am still getting followers despite my awful inactivity. Alright I can finally say I did not make it into the circus program I had auditioned for without feeling like a failure.
However I did find the only aerial class in the city I live in and have been doing that [: I want to post a video of what I have learned so far and some of my new tumbling.
My current plan is to try to save enough money to move where I can get serious training in circus arts. Right now looking at Missori and Colorado, although I could end up somewhere different. Aiming to move by the first few months of next year at the latest. Hoping for something to make clear of what to do now and where to go in the future
ohkay sorry I haven’t been putting up anything in like the past month, but hopefully I’ll update you guys on a few things tomorrow [:
Is my circus audition [[:
Kinda nervous because I’m not sure how my leg or back is going to be since they aren’t fully healed yet =// Wish me luck! Going to go pass out from traveling for over 24hrs
I’ve been invited to the auditions!! Now I just got to figure out how to travel up there =X
which means in about 24hrs I SHOULD know if I’m accepted into the circus school or not! I’m going to have to keep myself busy for the next 36hrs!
